The Camp "Fühlinger See" in the north of Cologne with its round about 1.800 tents, one church and a supermarket was the biggest accommodation of the World Youth day.

On Thursday Pope Benedict XVI started his route from the Cologne/Bonn Airport via the river Rhine to the Dome. ich collected impressions of the meeting between pilgrims and Pope

After the program at Marienfeld started at 12.00 o'clock, Pope Benedict XVI arrived for the vigil at 20.30. Round about 1 million people celebrated the mass.
